2018 – 2020
After a successful partnership in previous anti-trafficking projects, Talikala is implementing a third project with AWO International, through funds of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The project pursues the fight against trafficking of children and women, while taking into account new issues, such as online sexual abuse. Also new is the integration of the demand side into the project, as groups of men from communities with high numbers of prostitution are organized to combat sexual exploitation and prostitution. Other activities range from the organizing of self-help groups and awareness campaigns to advocacy work.
